Manuel Pérez Alonso

Graduated Biology in 1985 and doctor in Molecular Genetics in 1989. Residency at the Molecular Genetics Lab at the University of Lund (Sweden). Chair of Genetics at the University of Valencia, he founded the Development Molecular Genetics Lab from where there were developed three biotechnological patents transferred to the biopharmaceutical industry. He participated in international consortiums of genome sequencing. Scientific advisor to Roche and collaborator at Life Technologies. He published in Nature. He was founding partner, science and strategy director of genomic systems. Founding partner and science director at Valentia Biopharma and the Instituto de Medicina Genómica, both at the Science Park of Universitat de València.
