José Lora

He is Executive Director of Preclinical Science in Constellation Pharmaceuticals, biotech company located in Boston, MA. He was born in Sevilla and has been in the US for more than 20 years, where he specialized in immunology. At Constellation Pharmaceuticals, José Lora leads the department of immunology, cancer pharmacology, toxicology and DMPK. As part of the team he contributes to defining the strategic and tactical guidelines for epigenetics and drug discovery, and he is responsible of Immunology and Inflammation. Constellation is a leading company in epigenetics drug discovery. He was the director of Immuno-Epigenetic Biology at GlaxoSmithKline, where he founded EpiNova, a unit aimed at discovery and development (up to phase II) of immunologic control response epigenetic factor drugs. He developed a series of drugs in partnership with research centers.
