Eva Méndez

Doctor in Biology Science with more than 17 years of research experience, both in the academic and the pharmaceutical sector (Ferrer). She has worked for the last 12 years as chief of different R&D departments in the pharmaceutical industry, coordinating biotechnology, compound management and in-vitro screening. She is a member of the committee of identification, evaluation and selection of new projects and scientific coordinator of multidisciplinary teams with participation in other pharmaceutical and biotech companies as well as public institutions. She is a member of the business advisory committee of the Instituto de Investigación Biomédica de Barcelona (IRB), founding member of the Red Española de Drug Discovery (SDDN), advisor to Innopharma (Drug Discovery’s Galician initiative) and professor holding 3 official MBA in biomedicine. She is currently working as an independent advisor in areas relating to biomedicine and the discovery of new drugs.
